The Annapurnas are of course famed for their hikes and treks,

from the fertile villages of the middle hills

to high passes and peaks.

The snow melt provides the rivers which draw paddlers

- both kayakers and rafters -

while the paragliding pilot and his/her tandem passenger

are lifted by the thermals into the skies above.
